Fees are due in advance, and invoices are issued mid-month for the following month. Unfortunately, there can be no refunds for sickness or holidays.
Flexibility
You can widen the weekday length, either at £14 per hour on a pay-as-you-go basis i.e. £7 each 30 minutes, or £3.50 each 15 minutes.
Emergency day’s swaps
Subject to availability, in case of sickness or unforeseen absence, we offer up to 2 days swap per month to be used on the same calendar month.
Ad hoc days
Subject to availability, you can purchase ad hoc days at the standard daily rate. Ad hoc days can be booked at any time before the requested date.
Registration & Waiting list
In order to register your child for “Lucy’s Daycare” please send an inquiry form via the “get in touch” button on the site.
We will need to know your child’s date of birth, the month and year that you would like her/him to start and for how many days a week.
Allocation of places
Places are offered on the basis of the following order of priority
- A child who is currently at Lucy’s Daycare, wishing to increase sessions.
- A child with a sibling already at the nursery.
- To a child who is currently at Lucy’s Daycare, wishing to increase sessions.
- To a child with a sibling already at the nursery.
- The date of waiting list registration.
Registration fees
To join the waiting list at Lucy’s Daycare, parents are required to pay a registration fee of £30. Once a place is accepted, this fee will become a non-refundable joining fee.
Place offers cancellation & changes
Place offers
If you are top of the waiting list, we will automatically offer you any place that become available, even if the days match your first preference. If you don’t take the offered sessions, your child will be placed back at the top of the waitlist until those sessions are available.

Accepting the place
In order to accept this place, you are required to pay a place acceptance fee or deposit depending on how many days you need per week.
Deposits:
1 day a week deposit will be: £255.00 (3 days)
2 days a week deposit will be: £425 (5 days)
3 days a week deposit will be: £595 (7 days)
4 days a week deposit will be: £765 (9 days)
Once deposits are made, your place will be reserved.
Deposits will be reimbursed at the end of the contract, considering that a 2 months notice has been given via email by the parents and confirmation has been sent. The deposit will be deducted in the last invoice.
Once you send your acceptance fee I will confirm your sessions are secure and your place will be reserved.
When you accept your place with us; your £30 refundable waiting list registration fee will become a non-refundable £30 joining fee.
Cutting down on days or cancelling your place
Should you wish to decrease the number of sessions your child attends is due to attend, or cancelling your place, two calendar months’ notice (60 days) is required. Notice must be submitted in writing which must then be confirmed by email by Lucy’s Daycare.
Cancelling a confirmed place (prior to starting)
Should you wish to cancel your child’s place at Lucy’s Daycare prior to starting, please inform us as soon as possible, unless you have told us with at least 90 days in advance your acceptance fee will be refunded. Your joining fee will not be refunded.
