About Us

I strongly believe that the early years of any child are the most important ones of their lives when they learn basics skills, become confident and independent.
I aim to transform the children lives at Lucy’s Daycare, creating a homelike daycare with an extended and supportive cozy environment respectful, caring and with a positive attitude. We are a family that helps, respects and teaches them how to look after each other.

My philosophy states that children need, positive relationships, respect and confidence.
I have a clear vision of what I want to achieve at Lucy’s Daycare.

1. To place the children’s needs always first,  at all times. I encourage them to be confident and assertive, and to develop a trusting and respectful relationship with  their peers and my staff, so that they know they will be heard and trusted.
2. To build an environment where children are well cared for, safe learning and also where development is catered for.
3. To promote positive behaviour; this stems from children being empowered, valued and respected.
4. To work in partnership with parents to meet the needs of the children. Both children as well as  adults,  are treated with equal concern and are made to feel welcome at my home.
